		<description>This sort of aligns with my belief that people should vote based on the things they know personally, which I used to call "voting out of your own self-interest", but I really meant "voting out of your own knowledge". If people vote based on that, collectively, I believe the outcome will be satisfactory.

The craziest thing is that our country is divided 50/50 on these candidates. It's like you said, that just means they're both running really good marketing campaigns.

As for McCain, there is nothing that I like about McCain, especially the more I learn about him. His main trait is "self-serving".</description>

		<description>I like the idea of the "none of the above" option on ballots, I'm wondering why it never occurred to me, you know being so smart and everything.

It's both a nod to democracy and a no to imbeciles(as you wonderfully put it) making decisions for the country.  Also, it prevents results like Iran's latest election: the leftists decide to boycott the election, trying to show dissatisfaction in the candidates, while the rightists go right ahead and vote, laughing at their reform-seeking counterparts.</description>
