I am so angry.

I cannot believe Fox is cancelling Arrested Development. Actually, I am not surprised at all and I hold no anger toward Fox. I understand that Fox is in the business of making money and Arrested Development obviously wasn’t holding it’s own. Having said that though, I singlehandedly blame the American people once again for their sheer stupidity and meager intellectual capacity. Vapid shows such as Survivor and Friends get season after season of ratings while brilliant work, such as AD, is simply overlooked. It is a cruel, cruel world.

The bottom line is that Arrested Development is the best sitcom to hit the airwaves since Seinfeld and only got a short three-season run. The last time I encountered such blasphemy was the one-season stint of Freaks and Geeks. The truly tragic facet of all this is that this was not the first time nor will it be the last time great TV shows are snubbed.

I truly, madly, deeply hope that another network will pick up this show because it has so much potential.
