Coincidence? I think NOT.

Although I have been a long time Patriots fan — something which most of my old school readers can attest to — I’m going to have to make this entry because this is an entry which needs to be made. Today, marks the first time in Seattle Seahawks franchise history of making it to the Super Bowl. Normally, intellectuals like yourself or I wouldn’t really care too much about such simple meanderings such as football or Super Bowl XL. However, this is the first time in my life that I have lived in a city that actually has it’s own football team. And I have to admit it’s pretty damn exciting.

The team and city pride almost brings a tear to my eye. Perfect strangers brought together. People smiling. It’s just pride and happiness in the air. In fact, the last time the Seattle Seahawks entered the playoffs was 22 years ago. How old am I? 22. And when did I move to Seattle? This year. Coincidence? I think NOT. I have brought victory to the city of Seattle; a city who has simply been long overdue and has – without a doubt — earned my residence.

Go Seahawks.
