Ring Tone Melodies…

Ring tones are overrated. I have my cell phone play a nice melody by Jack Johnson, which is great, except for the fact that I often times don’t realize the phone is ringing because I’ve heard the song so often I just instinctively tune it out. So, yes, ring tones are overrated.

I think a good ring tone would be a woman giving birth. I think that would be the best while in line at a movie, eating at a quiet restaurant or even during an important company meeting. The simple, undeniable sound of a woman shrieking at the top of her lungs — giving the good Lord quite the lip service — while she adamantly promises to herself never to have sex again, is something much more difficult to simply “tune” out.
