Banana Pancakes

As I briefly discussed earlier while trying to fill in the gaps; Friday was the ICS Honors and Awards Banquet. We (surprisingly) won third place for the Extreme Computing Product Development Competition and walked out with a cool $1,500 — in addition to our earnings from the 1st undergraduate finish in the Business Plan competition. All in all, we’re really happy and it was definitely a worthy experience. And to be quite honest, it’s another touch to the old resume.

Saturday and Sunday I spend part obsessing over my music collection and part trying to finish some much overdue homework. Officially, Spring Quarter 2005 has finished. I just have one final on Wednesday and two finals on Thursday: and that’s it — an entire four years at UC Irvine have come to a rapid finish.

Starting next week I suddenly will find myself to have a sprinkle of free time (especially since I no longer work at Unisys). This is good news to my girlfriend, friends and avid website enthusiasts. I have a bunch of ideas floating about that I am very eager to implement. Hopefully, I can finally get my ass in order and make my website super, awesome cool once again. Just kidding, that would mean this website was once awesome long ago. And all signs point to no, in that category.

This also means that I’ll get to develop some applications that I have been dying to code since approximately the beginning of time. This includes both Catalogger and ZoolBit. Moreover, I am also halfway through some really good articles I’ve been meaning to publish and you’ll see those pop up here and there in the coming weeks. Lastly, I wanted to note that Britni’s mom bought me both a George Foreman Grill and the Magic Bullet — which I have been wanting for years! Oh, how I love her so. She has singlehandedly solved all my kitchen needs for my big move to Washington.
