Bob Saget, you rule.
Since I no longer really have the time to keep up with todays’ television shows in addition to the fact that todays’ television shows, for the most part, suck ass — I often times find myself reminiscing about the good old days of TV. If you remember any of these shows, then you are equally rad as I am. Of course, if you fall into the generation before or after these shows, you can be equally as rad in your own circle of friends.

If there are any classics I missed; tell me. If you lived in Bolivia and I missed some classic that you enjoyed back when, please keep those memories to yourself. Thanks. Oh, and I never had Nickelodeon or any other fancy pants channels, sorry. Regular Cable shows only. Anyway, I got completely sidetracked walking down memory lane. Back to the original topic: Bob Saget. The point I was trying to make was that if there was a true fond memory of television in the 90s, I would have to attribute it to Bob Saget. He brought us two timeless classics which are still syndicated today: Full House and America’s Funniest Home Videos. I have been singing the chorus to America’s Funniest Home Videos nonstop for the past two days. This is probably unhealthy but it’s so damn catchy, can you blame me?
We got laughs from coast-to-coast - to make you smile
A real light look at each of you - to capture all that style
You’re the red, white, and blue
The funny things you do
America, America, this is youStories from your friends next door - they never told
You might be a star tonight - so let that camera roll
You’re the red, white, and blue
Oh, the funny things you do
America, America, this is you
Yes, Maddox and I agree to disagree. But you can be your own judge. Bob Saget: friend or foe? I am afraid to download any of his standup work (even though I heard it was good!) because I fear that my spittin’ image of Danny Tanner may be shattered forever — I may seriously never cope from the trauma. I had a close call in Half Baked (1998) when he’s that cocaine addict. Remember that? Crazy.
Adieu. Navid.
