Getting Busy

I’ve been really busy lately and I figured some of you might want to know what really is keeping this literary genius knee-high in projects, deadlines and innovations.

• School: First and foremost, class and their respective projects and assignments are keeping me quite busy as is. I have three major project deadlines coming up within the next three weeks. And not to mention finals.
• Work: This is probably the least of my worries right now. Though I do need to start sending out my resumes to the companies which have asked (coughmicrosoftcough) but I just have not yet got around to it. I did send in my resume through a contact to IBM — so we’re waiting on a reply from there. I’ve also been really thinking about Sony (San Diego) and the opportunities which it may have. There is a lot to contemplate in these next several months. I hope I make the right choices.
• Music Collection: As most of you may now, my DVD Collection has been streamlined. I have an up-to-date list and the organization is complete. It’s only a matter of adding the remaining movies to the collection. However, my Music Collection is still in progress and I am working on developing my Catalogger application to help expedite the management. I currently have over 800 albums in addition to every Billboard Top 100 from 1960 to 2003 (if you do the math that is 4,300 songs alone).
• ZoolBit: Now, whatever spare time I have, I am working on designing a new BitTorrent client based on XUL. I think it holds a lot of potential and I am waiting to hear back from SourceForge to see if they accept the project (update: http://zoolbit.sf.net approved). Once (and if) they do, I’ll start materializing some of my ideas into a prototype.
• Gallery2: I am working on integrating Gallery2 with WordPress 1.5. As h0bbel pointed out, I may use the new RSS feature in G2 to flush out some new methods of integration. I already have some good (innovative) ideas to make the integration 100% customizable and easy. We’ll see what I can come up with.
