Meet Audrey
Ever since I can remember I have been enthusiastic about design. I’ve been known to revamp and redesign my website, usually from scratch, in an insatiable and probably compulsory fashion. I know it’s not healthy and I know it’s probably not even productive. However, it has proved to be worthwhile — paving the way for myself to better understand what designs work and most importantly, which don’t. With the introduction of WordPress 1.5, I have been given the opportunity to completely encapsulate function from form and thereby attain web design nirvana: separation of concerns, separation of content from presentation. Therefore, without further adieu, there’s someone I’d like you all to meet:
Everyone meet Audrey.
This is my first stab at developing a WordPress 1.5 Theme and although I am no where near done yet, the general structure is pretty much apparent. At this stage, the most important aspects include any major browser breakage or missing functionality which still need to be implemented.
The next item on my to-do list is to create an exceptionally beautiful comment area (while incorporating gravatars) and other fancy features.
Adieu. Navid.
