Separation of Church and State
I came to the conclusion tonight that the main problem with the 2004 Election was not who won or who lost. It wasn’t about Republicans or Democrats, Liberals or Conservatives. It was about religion and it’s terrible affects on humanity. But, instead of just pointing out problems whilst sitting in a nice, warm cozy chair in the lovely blue state of California, I decided to actually offer a viable solution.
Politics or Religion: Choose One.
You must choose to either participate in the political arena or the religious plight. If you choose one, you may not participate in the other. I think this makes perfect sense and holds even more true to the United States and it’s constitution. Separation of Church and State has been a very important, if not most important, aspect of America’s success. It is however now apparent that the separation is not strong enough — we must force all peoples of the great nation to decide where to place their faith: in logic and science or in hoopla and religion. The choice is yours.
Adieu. Navid.
