Programming Frustration!
I’m doing my hardcore assignment for my ICS 142 (Compilers and Interperters) class. I get stuck on the little things which simply only need a reference to get by… but… I have no one to ask these relatively simple questions from, and thus, I get stuck and frustrated looking up stupid stuff that I wish someone like me could simply answer. (And by stupid, I mean much more difficult than basic tuturials or examples… more fundamental academic stuff.)
I seriously wish I knew someone who was has hardcore, well-rounded and as responsive as me in the realm of computer programming. I feel that I am the go to guy for relatively any computer language issues for all my friends. But when I get stuck, I have no one! It’s so fucking frustrating. I know I can help basically all my friends because I code recreationally with a variety of computer languages. Not everyone shares my enthusiasm. I’m always up to speed and available to answer any all questions to the best of my ability.
If you’re trying to do something and it’s not working — chances are I’ve either a) read how to do it b) done it myself previously or c) know enough about it to find the solution. Yet, time and time again, I get stuck on different things (which is inevitable) and instead of picking up or browsing to a god-damn 400 page book, I wish I could just open up AIM and instant message NaViD aZiMi II with a quick “Can you tell me why Java Vectors are holding references to added Objects, such as arrays and other Vectors?”
Sadly, NaViD aZiMi II is never online.
Adieu. Navid I.
