Totally Galleria
I finally got my scanner/printer/copier all-in-one miracle machine from Best Buy. Francis was kind enough to give me a hand at attempting to pick one out while Britni graced us with her presents and ended up leaving the joint with 10 DVDs. Oh Britni. In any regard, I picked up the Epson Stylus CX5400. I setup an online gallery which is located at http://www.studentsoft.org/gallery/. You can even leave comments, too. Gallery is an awesome open source imaging package. We’ll hopefully take a lot more pictures and I’ll scan them in. I did notice that I resized them all a bit too small. So, next time I get a chance, I’m going to rescan them and make them a bit larger so you can see the wonderful quality of the scanner (and more detail of the pictures of course)
Christmas was wonderful. I got a bunch of neat stuff including a Santa Fe Quesadilla Maker. Totally off the hook this thing is. I already created two quesadilla’s with it and they were scrumpious. I bet it was the expensive Kraft cheese. Thank you dear Britni for buying the expensive cheese. In other news, I also got an awesome shirt from Amanda, as well as, my ever so desired Gillette Sensor Excel…. with 20 extra blades (bling bling).
Britni also picked me up my ever so cool CD case for the car. It holds 96 CDs. It’s absolutely perfect. I took her to Tower Records, picked it out and she did the honor… it completely cleaned her out. Oh Britnijoonam. I just love that girl. I also spent a couple (three) Christmas dinners with Britni’s family. First, on Christmas eve, I had dinner with Britni and her step-dad’s extended family (three step-sisters et al). It was cool. The food was great and I felt very welcome. I just adore her family since well, they are very nice to me. On Christmas Day, I went to her fathers’ luncheon. It was cool but before the old home movies could be busted out, we got out. And then, Christmas Day dinner I had a very intimate dinner with just the core family (minus Amanda who ditched us!). Her Dad gave me a very nice toast and like I was speechless but it was very nice nonetheless. I definitely felt like family. All wholesome and stuff.
I’m looking forward to our little ‘Poor-Peoples’ New Years party. Only this time, Francis and I are very well prepared. Anyhow, go check out the gallery and leave me your comments. I’ll try and get more.
Adieu. Navid.
