Dear Blockbuster…

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing you to inform you that I am a very upset and dissatisfied Blockbuster customer. Not only have I been, on more than several occasions, erroneously accused and charged of “late fines” but moreover, I’ve come to the conclusion that the business practices enforced to regulate these policies are in many ways fraudulent.

As I stated above, I have been INCORRECTLY charged late fines on several occasions when I know, for certain, that the movies were not late. What I speculate has happened is that the late shift employee has forgotten to pick up the “drop-off” stash and therefore the employee the next morning picks up the drop box, automatically marks all movie late, when in fact it was an error on Blockbusters part. Whether this business practice is intentional or not, I am not for certain. However, I do know that the policies or regulations at Blockbuster Corporation should change or be enforced. Otherwise, I have no choice but to take my business elsewhere.

On one occasion, when I refused to pay the late fine due to the incompetence of the Blockbuster employees, roughly a month later, the late fine was doubled and then AUTOMATICALLY billed to my credit card. I find this behavior completely unacceptable. I have put a stop payment on all my blockbuster credit-card accounts and refuse to make any payments until this problem has been resolved to my satisfaction.

If I do not hear a response in a timely manner, I will take my matters with the Better Business Bureau for further investigation.

Thank you for your time and cooperation,

Regards,

Navid Azimi
