“But I Don’t Wanna!” — Growing Up Sucks

Ah, yes. I’ve come to the conclusion that even though I cherish and enjoy my new found freedom throughout the years, I’ve also accumulated much more sadness, grief and stress. Right now I’m stuck with an expensive ass studio apartment minutes away from UCI whose toilet doesn’t flush, whose closet leaks when the neighbors shower and a garbage disposal that’s trying to dispose of itself. I am extremely happy and content with everything. Don’t get me wrong — things are wonderful — but damn just having to talk to the landlord, having to call the cable company, having to do this and that and to take care of all these random things really do add up and really do cause extra grief.

I don’t wanna grow up… completely.
