Hey, man, I've just found your blog and it's really interesting. I could've written this post. You could be schizoid. Or at the very least, I think you'd identify with it like I do.

A good place for info is the Wikipedia page (which is quite accurate, quelle surprise) and can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schizoid#Diagnostic_criteria_.28DSM-IV-TR.29

Whether or not it speaks to you--great blog!

I try and read often, I do enjoy your site, but I don't have time to post. You seem highly skilled in your area of study, and I hope one day to convince you to work with me on a project. I am a litt major in NJ, and have an as yet unfinished story I'd like to publish in a web page. I have taken some multimedia classes, but I think you could help me make some money with the project. Let me know if you are one day at all interested. Good luck with the "real world".

I am very intrigued. It has been just over two years since I posted this entry publicly, and you have been the first to comment therein. I am intrigued by your response and rebuttle. Thank you for your comment. I am going to take what you said to heart and hopefully you'll lend me some more of your insight in future entries. I thoroughly enjoyed this one.

if you push people away you miss the chance of learning from them...from yourself. The wonderful thing about KNOWING someone is the questions they ask you that you wouldn't normally ask yourself...and you'd be quite surprised at the answers. Are people going to hurt you? Hell yes. Are you going to hurt people? Of course. But by seclusion you invite your worst enemy to penetrate your mind. The enemy being yourself, the tools of destruction the lovely over analyzation you employ. Humanity is, I agree, most likely a loosing battle. Society and it's rules a steaming pile of concentrated feces. There is hope, because others DO care about the pieces. But you won't find them if you're hiding....
